Accessibility
Best possible access for all
Access to the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle is barrier-free - all entrance doors are threshold-free and sufficiently wide to accommodate wheelchairs. There is only limited barrier-free access to the gallery seating in the Beethoven Hall and Hegel Hall. However, easy transition between floors in all foyers is guaranteed thanks to several accessible lifts. Disabled toilets are available in all foyers.
Discounts on admission prices vary depending on the event and enquiries should be directed to the relevant event organiser.
The individual halls have a limited number of wheelchair spaces. Advance booking and reservation are therefore essential. Please contact the event organiser directly to arrange this. For standing concerts, we will be pleased to set up a wheelchair users’ podium for you. Walking aids and wheelchairs can be left outside the hall by prior agreement.
Public transport stops are located just a few metres from the main entrances to the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle. Signposted disabled parking is available in the nearby car parks.
Comprehensive accessibility
Hearing loop system
The Beethoven Hall and Hegel Hall are equipped with a hearing loop system with best reception in the stalls area. This allows visitors to easily listen to speech and music with no irritating background noise or disturbing neighbours with overly loud volume.
To use our hearing loop system, simply turn your hearing aid to the “T” audio induction reception setting.
For further assistance on site, please contact reception. Our staff will be happy to help.
