Kunstmuseum Stuttgart

Contemporary art at the heart of the city: two or three special exhibitions each year, plus the highlights of the municipal art collection comprising over 15,000 works, are displayed in the Kunstmuseum art museum. These include works by Otto Dix, Willi Baumeister, Dieter Roth, Wolfgang Laib, Michel Majerus and Josephine Meckseper.

Staatsgalerie

Presenting a rich collection of masterpieces from the 14th century through to the present day, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart art gallery is one of the most popular museums in Germany. The striking museum complex and its collections reflect a combination of traditional and modern. Classical modernism, with works from 1900 to 1980, undoubtedly forms the core of the museum's collections.

Mercedes Benz Museum

Over a surface area of 16,500 m², the Mercedes-Benz museum showcases breathtaking vehicles and over 1,500 exhibits in a unique architectural setting. Learn about automotive and contemporary history since 1886. From the world's first patented automobile to this millennium's hydrogen-powered vehicle.

Porsche Museum

Württemberg State Museum

Cultural history comes to life in the Old Castle. The Württemberg State Museum presents precious objects from a period spanning 80,000 years: from Ice Age art to Celtic burial objects, Roman artefacts and medieval masterpieces, as well as unique treasures from the dukes and kings of Württemberg.

Haus der Musik sound museum

The Haus der Musik in the Fruchtkasten building is a popular attraction for music enthusiasts in the heart of Stuttgart. It is home to the Württemberg State Museum’s superb collection of historical musical instruments. Original keyboard instruments can also be heard at various concerts.

StadtPalais

The StadtPalais – Museum für Stuttgart is much more than a museum – it is a science centre for urban culture. The building, which opened in April 2018, is as diverse as the city: issues of the future, architecture and urban topics are discussed here in a programme covering everything from political debate to parties.

Kunstbezirk art gallery

The Kunstbezirk art gallery in the Gustav-Siegle-Haus building is a non-commercial gallery that promotes artists of all kinds, focusing in particular on talent from the Stuttgart and Baden-Württemberg region. Multiple disciplines, such as photographs, music, installations, video, film and performance, converge in its exhibitions and projects. Admission is always free.

Kulturinsel

Kulturinsel Stuttgart gemeinnützige GmbH is a multicultural haven in the Neckarpark in Bad Cannstatt. The varied site on the location of a former rail freight depot provides a platform for art and culture enthusiasts, neighbours, asylum seekers, gardeners and many more.

AMICI

AMICI stands for superior quality and perfection in dining and service. Its European-Asian fusion cuisine, from sushi to creative fish and meat dishes, promises a special experience to suit every taste. International wines and fine, exquisite champagnes add the finishing touch. As well as fine dining, the venue also celebrates dance, with a club on the top floor that opens at weekends.

ampulle

The tasteful decor reflects the history of this building, dating back over 110 years. A former pharmacy, ampulle in west Stuttgart offers diners a very special atmosphere and a glimpse into times gone by. Diners can choose from more than 200 gin varieties in this unique setting. With its DRY AGED BEEF, the restaurant offers choice meat specialities from a free-standing dry ageing cabinet.

Stuttgarter Stäffele

For 50 years, this rustic wine bar in west Stuttgart has been serving top-quality Swabian cuisine in a traditional atmosphere. The selection ranges from classics such as Zwiebelrostbraten (fried beef and onions in gravy), Maultaschen (Swabian ravioli) and home-made Bubenspitzle (finger-shaped potato dumplings) to unique creations. Three different dining areas provide the perfect setting to for any mood and every occasion.

Stuttgarter Schlachthof

The old art nouveau-style administrative building of the Stuttgart slaughterhouse is now home to a restaurant of the same name, the Stuttgarter Schlachthof. Premium German cuisine is served in a beautiful setting reminiscent of a historic inn at the turn of the century. In spring and summer, diners can enjoy pleasant moments in the large beer garden.

Cavallino Spaghettaro

Cavallino Spaghettaro is young, unconventional and down to earth. Its speciality is spaghetti, but the menu also includes other Italian fare. Pasta, the symbol of Italian hospitality, takes centre stage in Cavallino Spaghettaro. The interior design combines traditional materials, such as Italian marble and terrazzo, with modern minimalism.

VINUM

The Spanu family extends a warm welcome to VINUM, the restaurant inside Stuttgart’s Literaturhaus cultural centre. Diners can enjoy Italian cuisine accompanied by a wide selection of wines. Gluten-free and vegan dishes also feature on the menu.

CUBE

The sense of space is unique, with glass on all sides offering stunning views over central Stuttgart. The minimalist interior designed by Heinz Witthöft adds to the impression of urban spaciousness. The professional restaurant team is united in a clear vision: "Deliver a new dining experience!"
