Andrey Makarevich "Your 5" Jaaz

Andrey Makarevich is the founding member and leader of the oldest and most famous Russian rock group "Mashina Vremeni" (Time Machine). The group exists from 1969, without any break-ups. They were first who started to perform rock music in Russian and made it popular in former Soviet Union.
Since the beginning of XXI century, along with playing rock in Mashina Vremeni, Makarevich started to pursue his interest in jazz music. Now he plays guitar and sings in projects like "Creole Tango Orchestra", "Jazz Transformations", "Songs about L.O.V.E." and "Yiddish Jazz", the last one plays Yiddish songs from beginning of XX century with jazz arrangements.
The "Your Five" project that's gonna visit Sweden and Finland this fall, contains of Andrey Makarevich (guitar, vocals, music, words), Evgeny Boretz (keyboards, arrangements), Sergey Hootas (double bass), David Tkebuchava (drums) and Timur Nekrasov (brass), playing the hits of Mashina Vremeni and solo projects, written by Makarevich, as well as some jazz standards.
