Week of Fraternity 2021
Live broadcast instead of live audience - On 7 March 2021, the award ceremony of the Buber-Rosenzweig Medal 2021 to Christian Stückl and the "Week of Brotherhood" took place under pandemic conditions in the Beethoven Hall of the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle. The 60-minute event, which had to take place without a live audience, was moderated by Evelin König. Speeches were given by Winfried Kretschmann, Minister President of Baden-Württemberg, and Dr Frank Nopper, Mayor of Stuttgart.
The musical accompaniment was provided by the Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of its chief conductor Dan Ettinger. The live broadcast of the opening ceremony with the awarding of the Buber-Rosenzweig Medal could be followed live on SWR television as well as on ARD-alpha.
