New splendour and modern technology

After around 18 months of general renovation with extensive construction measures, the congress area of the Kultur- und Kongresszentrum Liederhalle has been shining in new splendour since December 2020. In addition to the renovation of the fire protection, building control and network technology, the stage and event technology as well as the interior were also renewed.

A new visitor guidance system, a large LED video wall at the main entrance, and the installation of wooden elements at the bars, the stairways and the toilet area are visible signs of a new and modern ambience. 4,500 LED lights create a pleasant atmosphere while saving energy. The ceilings in the foyer are painted in a dark, elegant shade of blue and the edges of the room are accentuated and brightened, which significantly improves the quality of stay and provides a calm and unagitated feeling of space. Behind the scenes, a new large backstage area has been created in the Hegel Hall. Additional rooms are now available for events, which can be used for different work areas or for more storage space thanks to movable room dividers.
